Last night could be the start of the long overdue political maturity of the Filipino people. Or not. During GMA’s “Isang Tanong, Isang Sagot” program, a lot of people were impressed by Gibo’s competence while some a lot were disappointed by Noynoy’s sheer incompetence seeming unpreparedness. Heck, even BF, Villar, and Erap fared better. We see the intense reactions in blogs like this, over Facebook, or at Twitter.
The fight between Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto last Sunday, November 15, was my first time to watch any of Manny’s fights live. In fact, I don’t even watch over local TV. I just read the next day’s papers or just catch the best parts on YouTube.
However, for some reason, I watched the match at Gateway Mall. After a dozen rounds of spectacular action, nice National Anthem, and a theater full of unity and hope, I must say the P600 is worth every peso.
It’s just too bad politics still spoiled the event. There was the hidden “L” sign by some anonymous dude who just had to do it while La Diva did their thing. Then, of course, Chavit Singson and VP Noli de Castro.
At any rate, congratulations, Manny Pacquiao. May you always win in all of your endeavors except for public office (I mean well).
You’re the man!

Here’s another interesting trivia between Manny Villar, Gibo Teodoro, and Noynoy Aquino. Once again, these are just Internet Information and is no way directly proportional to actual votes. In fact, this so-called analysis is just based on Google’s predictive suggesting technique for search keywords. Nothing more, nothing less.
Stats like this are better used by Dotcoms or consumer brands. Nevertheless, it is interesting to note how much people are Googling about the supposed Top 3 Presidentiables for the upcoming 2010 National Elections.
